Evenie Rose Thafaïna Saint-Louis — known to the world as Tafa Mi-Soleil — is a Haitian-born artist whose creative spirit knows no boundaries. Singer. Painter. Designer. Couturière. Every medium she touches becomes a canvas for cultural expression and unapologetic beauty.

Born in Fort Jacques, Haiti, Tafa grew up surrounded by the vibrant colors, rich textures, and deep traditions of Caribbean artistry. These influences — the bold patterns of Haitian textiles, the regality of Vodou ceremony dress, the unapologetic confidence of Caribbean women — are woven into every garment she creates.

The Journey

From Stage to Atelier

Before the atelier, there was the stage. Tafa Mi-Soleil first captured hearts as a musical artist, blending Haitian rasin with Afrobeats, electronic textures, and Caribbean soul. Her 2023 EP, PHŒNIX, earned her “Best Female Variety Artist” from Haiti's Ticket Magazine and “Best Female Artist of the Year” at the Haitian Music Awards.

But fashion was never separate from the music. The costumes, the visual identity, the way fabric moves under stage lights — it all pointed toward something larger. Maison Saint Louis was born from the understanding that fashion, like music, is a language. And Tafa speaks it fluently.
