Size & Measurement Guide

Accurate measurements are the foundation of a perfect fit. Follow these instructions carefully, or visit our atelier for a professional fitting.

Before You Begin

Use a Flexible Tape

A soft measuring tape gives the most accurate results. Do not use a rigid ruler.

Ask for Help

For the best accuracy, have someone else take your measurements while you stand naturally.

Wear Undergarments

Measure in the undergarments you plan to wear with your piece — especially for bridal.

Stand Naturally

Relax your posture. Do not hold your breath, suck in, or stand on tiptoe.

Measurements

01

Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your bust. Keep the tape level across your back and comfortably snug — not tight.

Tip: Wear the undergarments you plan to wear with your piece.

02

Waist

Measure at your natural waistline — the narrowest part of your torso. Bend to one side to find the crease; that is your natural waist.

Tip: Do not hold your breath or pull the tape taut.

03

Hips

Measure around the fullest part of your hips, approximately 7-9 inches below your natural waist. Keep the tape level.

Tip: Stand with your feet together for the most accurate measurement.

04

Shoulder Width

Measure from the edge of one shoulder to the edge of the other, across the back. The edge is where your arm meets your shoulder.

Tip: Have someone help — this is difficult to measure alone.

05

Arm Length

With your arm slightly bent, measure from your shoulder point down to your wrist bone.

Tip: Bend your elbow at a natural angle, as you would when wearing the garment.

06

Torso Length

Measure from the base of your neck (where a necklace would sit) down to your natural waist.

Tip: Stand straight with your shoulders relaxed.

07

Full Length

Measure from the base of your neck to the floor. For a specific hemline, measure to where you want the garment to end.

Tip: Wear the shoes you intend to wear with the piece.

08

Neck Circumference

Measure around the base of your neck, where a crew neckline would sit. Insert one finger between the tape and your neck for comfort.

Tip: This measurement is especially important for high-neck or halter designs.

Save Your Measurements
